To our valued clients,
First and foremost, we hope you are all staying healthy during these difficult times.
At Arlyce Cleveland, Ltd. we want you to know that the needs of our clients hold great importance to us, and we appreciate the trust you put in our firm to handle your Tax needs.
With that being said, the COVID-19 situation needs to be considered as we move forward into the final weeks of Tax Season.
With the current regulations placed around the state of Minnesota, we have decided it is in the best interest of our clients and staff that we take the appropriate precautions.
As of March 18, 2020, we are implementing the following restrictions:
- We are cancelling all in-person tax appointments and asking that you either mail your documentation or upload it to our secure client portal (our staff is happy to assist you with this if you are new to our portal) There is also an option to drop off, we have a lock box outside our door where you can drop your documentation during our operating hours. Our staff will be here between the hours of 9 AM-5 PM Monday-Friday to retrieve it.
- We are not allowing clients into the office to drop off their documentation. As stated in line item 1, we have a lock box outside our door where you can drop your documentation during our operating hours. Our staff will be here between the hours of 9 AM-5 PM Monday-Friday to retrieve it.
- We are not allowing clients to come in and sign for their returns, this process will need to be done electronically or through the mail, again our administrative staff is more than happy to assist you with this process.
Please know that our staff is still here and working to ensure your tax and accounting needs are met, outside of the restrictions listed above we will continue to operate as usual.
We are here to answer emails and take calls to answer any questions you have about the changes to our normal operating procedures.
We hope you all understand that we are taking these precautions to ensure the health of our clients, staff, as well as adhering to the safety of the other tenants and building management.
Lastly, I want to update you as there have been articles and news circulating that suggests the tax deadline has been postponed…I can assure you at this point in time, it has not been extended beyond the April 15th deadline. They have implemented a 90-day reprieve to pay your income taxes without incurring penalties and interest.
In closing on the above matter, you will need to file your individual taxes, or your individual extension by April 15th, but if there are taxes owed, they will not be due until July 15th.
Again, please know that we are here to help. We will be answering calls and responding to emails as usual. We will also be processing tax returns as usual.
We assure you that you can count on us to remain true to the standards we have always maintained!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who have been and are being affected by COVID-19.
